Breaking: Corey Oates joins Robin and Kip

It looks like I was wrong as a new twist emerges in the great radio reshuffle.

Former Brisbane Broncos and State of Origin star Corey Oates has joined Robin Bailey and Kip Wightman on the KIIS FM breakfast show.

This is despite persistent rumours that Robin and Kip will be ousted to make way for networked show starring Kyle Sandilands and Jacki “O” Henderson in 2025.

P.S. The (maybe not so reliable) rumour mill now has it that 4BH will return from current leaseholder ACE Radio to Nine Radio next year and that former 4BC and 4KQ breakfast team of Laurel Edwards, Gary Clare and Mark Hine will play a role.

That seems like an odd thing to do if they are brought in to replace the current breakfast show which has been very strong under Barbecue Bob Gallagher. Apart from anything else, why pay three wages when one is enough?
