My new project is ready for liftoff!
It’s taken a while, and it’s not perfect, but it’s available now, and you’re invited to become a foundation subscriber for free.
I’ve been promising this for some time, and today I’m pleased (and also terrified) that my new project is ready to launch.
It’s another free newsletter and website, additional to Mister Brisbane and with an entirely different wrinkle. And that’s what it’s called: The Wrinkle — a space for people of my vintage with interests like mine.
Why? Because I think this group — sometimes called Generation Jones — is underrepresented in a youth-obsessed media environment.
Please pop over and have a look; perhaps starting with the About page to see if you think it’s for you.
I’d be very happy if you subscribe, tell your friends and/or shout about it from the rooftops depending on your level of enthusiasm. Let me know — over there or here — what you think. Please be gentle.
P.S. Don’t panic. Mister Brisbane isn’t going away. I’ll still be sending out regular updates from and about my hometown. The Wrinkle will be more global in its outlook. The subscriber lists will be maintained separately, so you can receive one and not the other, or (and this is my recommendation) both. Subscription is free, but a paid level may be introduced in the future.
