Breaking: Following concerns and complaints about something Kyle Sandilands did on the radio, he has been censured, and his bosses have assured us it won’t happen again.
The incident in question involved an interview with a woman who had drunken sex with her school-aged daughter’s boyfriend. It included a confrontation between mother and daughter that was put to air during a program with a large audience of children.
The broadcast, described by an education expert as “appalling and unethical”, was one of a series of outrages, including a segment where listeners were asked which animal they would like to have sex with.
Station management assured the media that “a few things have now been put in place” to prevent a repeat of the incident.
